Biography
Zachary Althof is a PhD student in the Roy J. Carver Department of Biomedical Engineering. As a graduate research assistant in the Reinhardt Biomedical Imaging Lab he has developed a deep learning method for pulmonary inter-lobar fissure integrity quantification and visualization from thoracic CT images. His research focuses on fissure integrity's relation to biomechanical and disease metrics.
