Joshua Carrizales is from San Antonio, Texas. He attended Texas A&M University where he obtained a bachelor of science in biomedical engineering. Joshua works on improving lung cancer radiation treatment by utilizing deep learning algorithms to detect and correct artifacts in 4DCT images. He hopes for his deep learning models to someday be used in cancer centers around the U.S.
